The iCHai Approach

innerCHANGE associates international (iCHai), a Limited Liability Company, works in partnership with businesses, educational and healthcare institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations and communities to develop their human resources through understanding, valuing and leveraging cultural differences.

iCHai was founded in Vienna, Austria in 1990. The overall aim of the innerCHANGE approach is to raise the level of cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity among all individuals who work in the global arena. Our company focuses on CHANGE and is built upon the belief that people from all cultures strive to work toward their full potential from their own cultural orientation.

innerCHANGE has a proven track record in attracting and retaining consulting associates with a variety of skills and expertise. iCHai associates represent a broad range of the cultural and geographic spectrum and share a passion for bridging differences across cultural divides through promoting interpersonnal understanding.

The iCHai Process

Intercultural Coaching for Decision-Makers (ICDM) is a three-step process
that values diversity not as an end but as a means to greater business success.

1. iCHai's intercultural coaching approach builds a collaborative relationship to determine services, programs, and procedures for organizational change.

2. Specific seminars, training programs, project management, and support services are designed to ensure continual improvement of cultural competence and managed organizational change.

3. iCHai monitors, measures, and evaluates the impact of services and seminars to remove barriers that create confusion, conflict, decreased productivity, and lower employee morale.

The Outcome

iCHai's unique solutions leverage cultural differences in our increasingly diverse workforce and marketplace. Cultural diversity solutions are not a checklist item to be reviewed and signed off annually. They are an ongoing effort for success throughout an entire organization. Ultimately, iCHai works within organizations to focus on the impact of cultural differences with the aim of creating a global perspective and a competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving international marketplace.
